Respiratory Conference

WELCOME MESSAGE FROM ORGANISING CHAIR

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Malaysian Medical Association, Penang Branch is organising the Penang Respiratory Conference, from 5th to 7th April, 2019 at the Bayview Hotel Georgetown, Lebuh Farquhar, Penang. This programme is eligible for 20 CPD points. This is our 1st of hopefully the future series of such conferences.

The conference proper will be a programme spread over 2 ½ days consisting of lectures and workshops involving a range of topics including cough in adults and children, asthma in childhood and adults, vaccination, tuberculosis update, community acquired pneumonia, occupational asthma, paediatric respiratory problems, obstructive sleep apnoea, management of COPD, palliative care in chronic respiratory disease, molecular tests in lung cancer, updates on pulmonary rehabilitation, chest X-ray quiz amongst the topics. We expect about 200 or more doctors to attend this conference.

A trade exhibition will also be held. This will provide an opportunity for exhibitors to display their products, equipment and services. The abstracts will be published in a journal. The organising committee invites you to participate in this Conference.
